Posner Has Some Thoughts On Law Reviews

Submitted by pdxnag on Sun, 11/21/2004 - 12:19pm.

Here at Legal Affairs.

Of note to me is his comments on the interface between law and economics. Posner applies economics to legal principals rather than the other way around.

His main point is that student law review is principally for the benefit of law firm employers to screen future employees. As such lots of junk gets put into school law review publications.
