The front page (HOME) can include other content in addition to blog posts.
This page is just a page from a book . . . if you look to the left-right buttons at the bottom. Any content (blog story page forum post etc) can be part of such a book.
You can post anonymous comments for nearly any content.
AND . . . you can EDIT YOUR COMMENTS if you sign up.
